Using empathy, research, and symbolism in designs, animations, videography, and layout design. Borderline intends to share genuine perspectives, stories, and designs, that are truthful, raw, and real. (this may cause discomfort for many people and if so, this brand is not for them)
To create a transformative platform that connects media and fashion to explore & celebrate the complexities of mental states, personality traits & disorders. I aim to help create a visual relation to an emotional experience faced by those effected with said disorders, traits, or states of mind. Using storytelling and thought-provoking designs that turn the heads of many viewers in either admiration, or curiosity, opening the door to start conversations, Borderline aspires to show a visual representation of the group who may have experienced personality disorders, and/or specific states of mind covered within borderlines designs.

Our Story
Borderline began as a passion project by young creator Adam McClain. While pursuing a degree in Digital Media: Visual Imaging at Northwest Missouri State University, Adam discovered a deep connection between art and personal experience.
Inspired by his own journey with personality disorders and the struggles of loved ones, Adam founded Borderline in 2024. The brand is a visual representation of the chaotic beauty that can arise from mental health challenges. Through striking designs, thought-provoking imagery, and expressive apparel.
